Earnings Cycle
Earnings activity is aggregated at the sector level based on the underlying holdings of State Street Sector ETFs.
To ensure comparability across companies with different fiscal year-ends, earnings are mapped to a standardized calendar-based earnings cycle. Each reporting event is assigned to a calendar period based on its fiscal quarter-end month, allowing earnings activity to be analyzed on a consistent timeline across sectors. This mapping reclassifies reporting periods without altering the underlying data.
