About this Benchmark

The UC Investments 90/10 Endowment Strategy Index combines a 90% allocation to US large-cap equities with a 10% allocation to short-term, investment-grade corporate bonds. The equity portion comprises constituents from the S&P 500 Index, which measures the performance of 500 leading companies in the large-cap segment of the US equity market. Constituents in this sleeve are float-adjusted market capitalization weighted. The Fixed Income portion comprises constituents from the S&P U.S. Investment Grade Corporate Bond 1–3 Year Index, which includes US dollar-denominated investment grade corporate bonds issued in the U.S. with remaining maturities between one and three years. Constituents in this sleeve are market capitalization weighted. The Index is rebalanced quarterly to restore its target 90% equity and 10% fixed-income allocation.
