Esther M. Baroudy

Esther, who is based in London, is a Managing Director of State Street Investment Management (SSIM) and Senior Portfolio Manager in Active Fundamental Equity. She co-manages the Global Equity Select portfolio, the Global Climate Transition portfolio and, more recently, the Global Shariah portfolio.

Esther joined SSIM in July 2016 through its acquisition of GE Asset Management (GEAM). She joined GEAM in London in 1996 as a Senior International Fixed Income Analyst and moved to International Equities in 2001. 

Analyst assignments included covering Emerging Markets and the Food, Beverages and Tobacco Sector ex-US. She also managed a focused Europe portfolio from 2006 to 2012. Esther started her career at Credit Lyonnais Capital Markets in 1988, becoming a Senior Economist for the firm and working out of their Paris Headquarters.

Esther has a BA Honours in Economics from Leicester University and an M. Phil in Economics from Cambridge University. She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
