SPDR has two equity ESG ETFs that follow a transparent exclusion strategy.
Both ETFs aim to eliminate exposure to controversial weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, and companies that do not comply with United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) principles. In addition, the SPDR S&P 500 ESG Screened UCITS ETF aims to exclude civilian firearms. Each ETF includes an innovative ‘Fast Exit’ feature to react quickly to breaking ESG controversies.
Our mission is to invest responsibly to enable economic prosperity and social progress. Our capabilities in ESG investing are core to helping us achieve this mission.
