        Gaurish is a Senior Researcher for State Street Investment Management and with the Active Quantitative Equity (AQE) team. In this role, Gaurish is primarily responsible for research and development of new alpha signals. He has taken the lead in applying advanced ML on various datasets including Patents and text data sources. He is also responsible for optimizing Portfolio analytics tools and mentoring early-level joiners in AQE Bangalore.

        Prior to joining AQE, Gaurish did internship with the firm's Investment Solutions Group (ISG) where he worked on model conversion. He started his career at myKaarma.com where he spent 3 years as a product data scientist working on forecasting models and visualization tools. 

        Gaurish has a Master's in Business Analytics from Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi.
