Performing For The Future

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing has become a vital feature of many institutional investor strategies over recent years. Our latest survey of 475 institutional investors around the world builds a picture of the evolving role of ESG in investment programs, as well as the forces driving and restricting acceleration. The survey, conducted by Longitude Research, confirms that awareness of ESG investing among institutional investors is high, driven by a belief in its potential to deliver long-term commercial benefits. However, while a range of factors are driving awareness and momentum in this sector, many challenges remain. Addressing them will be crucial to help empower investors to capitalize on the potential long-term benefits of ESG integration, and to align their ESG aspirations with action.

Deputy Global Chief Investment Officer, Lori Heinel, highlights the key findings of the  survey in this video.
