Emmanuel is a Managing Director and Head of Middle East & Africa at State Street Global Advisors, reporting to the Head of EMEA Institutional Business. Supported by a team of 12 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, he heads up all business operations and business development/relationship management activities in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Emmanuel is also the appointed Senior Executive Officer of the State Street Global Advisors Limited branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), as well as the appointed Principal Representative of the State Street Global Advisors Limited branch in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Emmanuel is a member of the firm's Senior Leadership Team, EMEA Executive Management Team and EMEA Diversity & Inclusion Committee and of State Street Corporation's Country Risk Committee.
Emmanuel joined State Street Global Advisors in Brussels in 2005 as a Benelux and Nordics relationship manager, then as Head of Benelux until moving to Dubai in 2013.
Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors, Emmanuel spent 7 years working at The Bank of New York in London and Brussels where he gained experience in client service, product management and business development. During his last 4 years at The Bank of New York, Emmanuel was responsible for developing BNY's third party money market fund platform business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Emmanuel holds an MA degree in Translation Studies from the University of Mons-Hainaut, Belgium as well as the FSA Certificate in Securities from the London Securities Institute.
