        Tom is a Managing Director and Senior Investment Strategist in the SSGA Investment Solutions (ISG) group. As a senior leader he and his team work with our advisory, semi-delegated and delegated clients on asset allocation and portfolio construction, asset-liability and spending analysis, risk analysis, and the design and development of custom multi-asset portfolios and client specific investment policy statements. He and his team also design liability based solutions, de-risking glide paths, and overlay/ hedging solutions for pension clients. Tom is also member of the OCIO Investment Group. 

         

        Tom has over 30 years of experience in investment portfolio management, asset-liability management, advisory and consulting. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Lynch & Associates, where he advised corporations in the area of post-retirement, non-qualified plan investment strategies. Prior to that, he was a Senior Managing Director in the BankBoston Global Treasury Group responsible for fixed income portfolio management as well as asset-liability hedging strategies for the bank investment portfolio and pension plan.

         

        Tom earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Bentley University with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Merrimack College with a concentration in Finance. He is a frequent contributor to SSGA Thought Leadership and guest speaker at industry conferences.
