        Jennifer Bender, Ph.D., is Chief Investment Strategist and Global Head of Investment Strategy & Research at State Street Global Advisors.  Prior to that, she was Head of Solutions for Systematic Equity and before that Director of Research for Global Equity Beta Solutions from 2014 to 2023.  Jenn began her career as an economist at DRI from 1996 to 2000 and a researcher at MSCI from 2006 to 2014.  Jenn holds MS and PhD degrees in Economics from Brandeis University. Her work has been published extensively in industry-leading journals and books such as the Institutional Investor Journals and Wiley Finance Series. She is on the editorial boards for The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies, and The Journal of Impact and ESG Investing.
