Sunita Naik

Sunita Naik is Senior Managing Director and Country Lead for State Street Investment Management India. In her role, Sunita provides leadership and management oversight to a bright and diverse team of more than 700 professionals spanning across Investment Research, Technology, Operations, Sales and Marketing Support, Market Surveillance, Trade Analytics, Investment/Operations Risk Management, Compliance, Billing and Finance functions in the firm's Bangalore hub.

With nearly 30 years of work experience, Sunita is a seasoned organizational leader having been based out of Bangalore and London partnering with counterparts across Asia, EMEA and US with global organizations like Deutsche Bank and Thomson Reuters prior to State Street Investment Management. Sunita is skilled at managing complex, globally distributed initiatives and believes in generating holistic business value and the best client experience technology can deliver. She has been instrumental in building a culture of innovation and collaboration across functions, locally and globally.

Sunita is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and strongly believes in harnessing the power of “Collective Intelligence” to solve business problems and creating value for clients. Sunita was the co-chair for Professional Women’s Network within State Street India and continues to play an active role on this and other employee networks. She was co-sponsor at State Street India for CFA Institute India’s ‘Young Women in Investing’ program when it was first piloted. Sunita is a member of State Street Investment Management’s Executive Management Group and currently serves on the firm's Talent Learning and Culture Council and is a Director on State Street Foundation Board. Prior to her current role, Sunita was Head of Technology for State Street Investment Management in India.

Sunita has a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India.
