        Mark Alberici profile picture

        Mark Alberici is State Street Investment Management's Global Head of Product Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, leading the Innovation Hub. In this role, he is responsible for the product development efforts and the management of strategic partners on a global basis.

        Mark joined State Street Investment Management in 2024 from BlackRock, where he was Head of US iShares Product Innovation. In this role, he was responsible for developing BlackRock’s ETF product roadmap and strategy, including launching and commercializing new products, extending or enhancing existing suites, and uncovering new distribution platforms. He has a strong track record of bringing “firsts” to market – the first ESG S&P 500 suite of ETFs, the largest first day ETF launch, the first suite of Fixed Income Buywrites, and the first BlackRock Active Equity ETFs.

        Beyond ETFs, Mark has more than 20 years of experience and held senior global leadership roles in Derivative Structuring & Trading at Merrill Lynch Bank of America and J.P. Morgan.

        Mark received a BEng degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and a MSc in Finance from Fairfield University.
