Interns work closely with managers to develop skills based on business needs and goals, and are encouraged to proactively seek additional projects and responsibilities in order to deepen contacts with State Street Global Advisors staff and fellow interns. In addition, we host a number of events to educate interns about investment management, the financial services industry in general and State Street Global Advisors in particular. At the start of the program, State Street Global Advisors holds an introductory breakfast, which gives interns a chance to meet senior management and learn more about the organization.

Since networking is an integral part of the program, we also offer weekly luncheons at which interns can meet State Street Global Advisors employees from across the organization. For graduating seniors, we hold an annual seminar to discuss important steps in job searches and career planning. The program concludes with a reception for interns and their managers with the most senior members of State Street Global Advisors management - the Executive Management Group. This is an excellent opportunity to share experiences and hear about future employment possibilities.
